Hearing Aids

Hearing instruments have advanced enormously in the last 10 years, both in terms of digital technology and cosmetic appeal. Many being virtually invisible.

The right hearing aid for you depends on several factors including; degree of hearing loss, listening requirements, ear shape and size, cosmetic and lifestyle needs.

Today even severe loses can be fitted with very small powerful aids.

Receiver-in-Canal (RIC)

Small stylish aids that fit discretely behind the ear. A small ear tip is inserted into the ear attached by a very thin wire to the aid. Small vents in the tip allow natural and well as amplified sound into the ear.

Completely-in-Canal (CIC)

An impression of the ear is taken and the customised aid fits very neatly in the ear canal, leaving most of the concha area free of any hearing aid.

Remote Controls

For those with manual dexterity problems or insensitive fingertips remotes can give the user functional control over their hearing aids. You can select hearing aids which are fully automatic and do all the work for you!

After your hearing test we will discuss the different factors relating to each style of aid before recommending a specific device for you.
